I guess this is my fourth chapter of vehicle ownership.
First impressions:
-HIDs rule
-The stereo is still pretty good
-6th gear is kinda short
-CD009s are really notchy
-Seats are good
-dual-zone climate control is a godsend
-It does not take a big blip to rev match this thing
-Merging is pretty effortless
I’m going to be putting a lot more miles on it over the next week, so I’m kinda hyped.

I never have driven a G35 but if it’s anything like a 350Z I used to own (i’m sure it is) that was a memorable car to own.

Basically a longer, heavier 350Z. It’s still got the same insanely notchy shifter that tingles all the damn time.

How much did you pay for this thing? I’ve often considered G35s as a next car.

What school? Faculty’s been on strike for a week, so there hasn’t been a whole lot going on.

Beautiful - always liked those. Worked with a guy that had one of those fairly rare light blue ones. The interiors are maybe only 9/10ths but they more than make up for it with that spectacular stock exhaust note and sexy body. Kind of a pinnacle point for Inifiniti/Nissan.

Not one iota. Some of the people were great, but I couldn’t get out of that town fast enough.

The whole “bionic cheetah” design era was a great time for Nissan and Infiniti.

Where are you in school? I either missed that update, or forgot, because my memory is only good for car stuff

Niagara College! I’m about 20 minutes from The Falls, and about an hour from downtown Toronto.

It is kinda neat, tbh. I’ll be spending at least 2 hours in the G tomorrow on the 400-series highways, so I’ll report back on its long-haul abilities.
